Thank you FtLoB for all that you do and to the new addition and growth of our family!! I would absolutely recommend For the Love of Birds a million times over to anyone who is interested in adopting a feathered friend. The whole process from start to finish was a happy one with a happy ending. Visiting the foster family to meet the birds for the first time was also an awesome experience seeing the care and attention they provided as a transitional stepping stone to a more permanent home. I was vetted thoroughly and through them discovered I had a toxic plant from that process - for which I was very grateful to know and remove for the sake of the birds. Joan and Patty communicated with me at the highest levels of professionalism while being completely and simultaneously down to earth and exuding love and joy for all the hard work they do for the rescue. I was very happy to see the prerequisites needed to ensure that any bird or birds adopted out receives a safe and ultimately a perfectly matched forever-home.
